Anita Crosby

Anita Crosby, 83, of Lecanto, FL passed away on June 19, 2021 under the care of Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. Anita was born to the late Henry and Margaret (McGowan) Ross on May 11, 1938 in Carterville, IL. She was a Service Chief for Veteran’s Affairs for many years.
Anita loved bowling, fishing, square dancing, camping with her husband, Dennis in an RV, and baking for their Good Sam’s Camping Club friends. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her late husband Ronald Crosby in 2014. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of just shy of two years, Dennis Banks; her children, Ronald Martin (Kara) and Tina Hodges (Donald); her step-children, Kenney, Ray, Mike, and Joseph Crosby, Vicki Rhodes, Betty Hunnicutt, Lester and Gregory Lytle, Karen Kratzer and Barbara VanCamp; her brother, Michael; and her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements for Anita are private at this time. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
