Alane Dawn Montgomery of Lake Panasoffkee, FL passed away at her home on May 18, 2021 at the age of 55. She was born to Marilyn (Risner) Montgomery and the late Dallas Montgomery on April 22, 1966 in Tampa, FL and was a lifelong Floridian. Alane was a Christian by faith and attended services at the Kingdom Hall in Crystal River. She enjoyed taking care of others and worked as a CNA for many years. Alane was also an extremely talented guitar player and singer. She enjoyed shopping in her spare time and was excellent at decorating and interior design.
Those left to mourn Alane’s passing include her son, Jesse Allen Smith; her daughter, Stacey Shewan; her mother, Marilyn Montgomery; brothers: Troy A. Montgomery and Owen Montgomery; and grandchildren: Jayden, James and Jenna. She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Montgomery. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
