Anthony “Tony” Williams – lovingly known as “Butch” by his family – passed away on March 25th, 2021 in Clearwater, FL at 60 years old. He was born to George W. Williams and Judith Williams in Tampa, FL on August 19th, 1960.
As a young man, Tony served our country in the United States Navy. During his service, he explored and became inspired by the many countries he visited. Afterwards, he settled down back in Florida where he became a father to four daughters. He was known for his big smile, the love he held for his family, and his unmatched wit.
Tony was a chef by trade but his talents were vast. In his spare time he made jewelry and was both a collector and dealer of antiques. He also raised and cared for many species of plants, including Bonsai trees which were very special to him. Tony will be remembered for his appreciation of nature and oriental art, his love of birds, fishing, and The Beatles.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, George W. Williams. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Judith Williams; his children, Kimberly, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Christy Williams; his sisters, Kay, Cindy, and Michele; and his two admired grandchildren, Jade and Tristan.
A graveside Celebration of Life will take place on May 20th, 2021 at 11 AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where full Military Honors will be rendered. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
