Leonard “Len” E Wozniak

Leonard “Len” Edward Wozniak of Inverness, FL passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 26, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born to the late Leonard W. and Anne Wozniak on May 20, 1941 in Hamtramck, MI. Len attended Florida Southern College and was a member of the basketball team. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1963 and that very same year he married Sue Wozniak, with whom he shared 57 years of loving marriage. Prior to retirement, Len was a salesman in the computer industry. He and Sue made Inverness their home 18 years ago after relocating from Livonia, MI. Len was outgoing, with a great sense of humor, usually with a good joke to tell. (He never wanted to peak early) He was active in the local, state and national Jaycees- where he enjoyed lifelong friendships. He was a member of Inverness Elks Lodge #2522 and the Loyal Order of the Moose Inverness Lodge #2112. In his spare time, Len enjoyed fishing, playing golf, Michigan basketball and listening to the oldies. He also loved watching his grandkids play sports.
In addition to his wife Sue, those left to remember Len include his son, Len Wozniak (Karen) of Ann Arbor, MI; daughters: Roni Murphy (Tom) of St. Petersburg, FL, Jacci White (Scott) of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Ron Wozniak(Gerry) of Port Charlotte, FL; and 6 grandchildren: Krystal, Raelyn, Reese, Erin, Margaret and Evan.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Len later this year. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
