Shirley H Lambert

Shirley H. Lambert, 85, of Inverness, FL passed away on March 21, 2021 at The Grove Health and Rehab Center of Hernando while under the care of HPH Hospice. She was born on July 22, 1935 in Ona, FL to Walton L. and Flossie (Stephens) Youngblood. She was a Secretary for over 30 years for the telephone company, GTE in Tampa, FL. Shirley married her beloved husband, William, in December of 2005 and together, they loved to do lots of traveling and take long cruises. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and talking on the phone with her friends. While she was a lifelong Floridian, she made Inverness her home 16 years ago from Tampa, FL.
Shirley was preceded in death by two of her children. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill; her son, Brent Tanner of Tampa; and several grandchildren.
Arrangements for Shirley are private. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
