Jean Frances Skinner of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Health and Rehabilitation Center on March 5, 2021 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Pearson and Marion (Tracy) Cazeault. She grew up in Weymouth, MA as an avid Boston Red Sox fan and had nine siblings, and had a family nickname of “Benny”. After High School she went to work in Washington DC, and then went to Verdun, France to support the Marshall Plan rebuilding efforts. She was married to the late Raymond Skinner of Westport, CT where they lived and volunteered for 45 years. They moved to Citrus County, FL in 1986, where she owned a local travel business, was a member of the Citrus American Italian Social Club and volunteered at the Ted William Museum. She was an avid reader, enjoyed volunteering and was forever ready for a good flea market, yard sale, or auction.
Jean tool great pride and joy in her family and is survived by her daughter Gail Toivonen and her husband William, their three children, Amira, Annika and Aila; her brothers Joseph, Paul and Richard Cazeault; sisters Marion Cross, Gail Robertson and Sara Benson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, James and Jon Cazeault.
Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, FL. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date when it is safer to gather.
