Robert Carver “Gator” Edson, Jr., 66, of Inverness, FL passed away March 3, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. He was born in Brooksville, FL on January 24, 1955 to the late Robert C. and Kate (Mc Leod) Edson, Sr.
Gator was a life long resident of Inverness and attended Trinity of Life Church. He enjoyed fishing, draft horses, and crafts.
Gator was preceded in death by one son, Cory Edson. Left to mourn his loss is his loving wife of 16 years, Rebecca Jones. Other survivors also include daughter Amy Edson, step daughter Andrea Jones, brother: Jack Edson, sisters: Frances Dolbow and Brenda Kennedy, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life for Robert is scheduled for Wednesday, March 10. 6:00 PM at New Birth Gospel Tabernacle Church, Inverness with Pastor Tammy Langley officiating.. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
