John T Weatherhead

John T. Weatherhead, 62 of Inverness, passed away February 15, 2021 at Life Care Center in Lecanto. John was born on November 2, 1958 in Camden, New Jersey to Robert F. and Retta (Earle) Weatherhead. John was a truck driver and a US Army veteran. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Inverness and was a very giving person, volunteering for Calvary’s food bank. He loved the Lord. During his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, taking walks and just being outdoors, and was a family oriented man. Left to cherish his memory are his mother: Retta Weatherhead, his son, John R. Weatherhead, his brother, Shawn Weatherhead, his sisters: Retta Volpa and Kathy Nelson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert on Oct. 22, 2012 and brothers: Robert Weatherhead, Jr. and Mark Weatherhead. Graveside funeral services for John, will take place today, Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, with Rev. Paul Giglio, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness.
