June S. Kelly, 93, of Inverness, FL passed away at her home in Inverness on February 9, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late John and Hattie (Reeves) Allen on September 11, 1927 in Sanford, FL. She was a loan officer for Bell South Credit Union for many years before retiring in 1980. She and her late husband, Roy, built their home in Inverness in 1981; the peacefulness and quietness of Inverness is what attracted the couple to Citrus County. June also loved fishing, playing tennis in her younger years, and was a former member of the Sweet Adeline Chorus, of Miami, in the 1940s-1950s.
June was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her beloved husband of 50+ years, Roy Kelly in June 11, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jan Dalrymple who passed in 2002; her brother and sister, James Allen and Marline Leigh; and her grandchild, Thomas Kelly. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Dale Kelly (late wife, Linda) of Inverness, FL; her grandchildren, Brian Dalrymple and Dawn Smith; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha Fliming, Jackson Fliming, Hannah Kelly, and Noah Smith.
Local arrangements for June are private. At a later date, June will be inurned at Palmetto Cemetery in Palmetto, FL alongside her husband, Roy. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
