Edward James Salatino, a retired meat cutter in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and resident of Floral City since 2015, entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2020.
Born on August 11, 1956 in New York City to Frank and Noreen (née Quinn) Salatino, he grew up in Brooklyn and was of the Catholic faith in the parish of St. Athanasius.
Edward is survived by his mother Noreen of Floral City, brother Frank of Floral City, brother Anthony and his wife Mary of Floral City, sister Florence and her husband Joe Marsiello of Coral Springs, Florida. He is the beloved uncle of 7 nieces and nephews as well as 13 great- nieces and great- nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter, Noreen and his father, Frank.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, Florida on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 11AM. Interment will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 9:30AM, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, until the procession leaves for church at 10:45AM.
