Miles “John” Fries, age 74 of Homosassa, FL passed away on November 12, 2020 at the Cypress Cove Rehab Center following a lengthy illness. John was born in Buffalo, NY on December 14, 1945 to the late Miles and Eleanor (Russ) Fries and came to this area from St. Petersburg over 35 years ago. He was employed by the Florida Power Corporation as a HVAC Mechanic prior to retirement. John was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also served our country in the U.S. Navy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Janice “Dee” Baldner-Fries; 1 daughter, Dawn Rosengren and husband, Scott of Huntsville, AL; 3 Step Sons: Reggie Terry and wife Chris, Russ Baldner and wife Misty, and Dan Baldner; 9 Grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements and burial in New Hope Cemetery with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home Crematory.
