Dora Elizabeth White of Hernando, FL passed away while surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Vitas Hospice on November 12, 2020 at the age of 76. Dora was born in Whitehall, NY to the late Adlord John and Lillian Dorothy (Valley) Caprood on October 10, 1944 and was Wesleyan Methodist by faith. She was married to her husband William “W.O.” White for 28 years until his passing on October 10, 2020. Dora and and her husband made Citrus County their home 36 years ago after relocating from Jacksonville, FL. She was a nurse throughout her working career and in her spare time she enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family and going shopping.
Those left to mourn Dora’s passing include her sons: Rick Wall (Nancy), Richard Dean Wall, David Wall, Franklin Wall (Mitzi); daughters: Tammy Poole and Tina Martin; brothers: William, Walter, Raymond and Donnie; sisters: Dorothy and Beverly; and a great many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Dora was preceded in death by her sister, Clara DeRosia.
