Paul Scott Weathers, 83, of Homosassa, FL passed away on October 30th, 2020, under the care of Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL. He bravely and honorably served our country as a career officer in the United States Marine Corps, receiving the Bronze Star Medal for valor during the Vietnam War, and the Meritorious Service Award in honor of his long career. Upon retirement from the Marine Corps, Scott worked as a Real Estate agent in Maryland and Ohio. Scott married his beloved wife, Bonnie, in 1988, and together they made Citrus County their home since 2010. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ann (Hendricks) Weathers of Haddon Heights, NJ. Those left to cherish Scott’s memory are his wife, Bonnie; his three children, Ron Weathers (Jennifer) of Maryland, John Weathers (Erica) of Massachusetts, and Meg Meserole (Bill) of Maryland; his two sisters, Betty Kaspar (John) and Barbara Johns (John); his cherished seven grandchildren, Kaitlin, Shannon, Madison, Brett, Kendall, Sophia, and Rosalie, and his loving nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Arrangements for Scott are private. Scott will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in honor of his career military service. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
