Edith Francis of Homosassa, FL passed away at Life Care of Citrus in Lecanto on October 11, 2020 at the age of 80. Edith was born to the late Eugenia Allen of Woodlands, Jamaica, West Indies on October 15, 1939. She is long known for her positive outlook on life and her sense of humor.
Edith worked as a Beautician before she immigrated to the United States, so she could help her daughter with her new baby girl while her daughter was in school. While living in Citrus County, she volunteered at the West Citrus County Center for six years.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Merveen Nealy, granddaughter, Ashli-Ken Nealy and her three God Children, Norman, Albert, and Veronica.
A Private Memorial Service will be held via Zoom on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
