Mark Douglas Kenney, age 71, Inverness, FL passed away October 21, 2020 at Vitas Hospice in Lecanto. Mr. Kenney was born in Gulfport, FL on February 23, 1949 to the late Douglas and Audrey Jane (Ellis) Kenney and moved to this area in 2010 from Safety Harbor, FL. He was a retired Design Engineer in the medical-semiconductor field and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lois Marie Kenney; step daughter, Dana Joy Scudder, Inverness, FL; step brother, Richard Kenyon, Lake Panasoffkee, FL; 2 grandchildren.
Catholic prayer services will be offered on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Tim Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
