Leamon Davis, Jr. of Floral City, FL passed away at his home while surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Vitas Hospice on October 11, 2020 at the age of 63. Leamon was born in St. Petersburg, FL on May 8, 1957 to the late Miriam (Baxley) and Leamon Davis, Sr. He made Citrus County his home 1 year ago after relocating from Pinellas County, FL. Leamon loved life in the country and enjoyed farming. He owned and cared for chickens, pigs and cows on his farm. In his spare time, Leamon enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an excellent cook and loved music, the louder the better! He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known to be quite a prankster.
Those left to mourn Leamon’s passing include his daughters: Morgan Davis and Madison Davis; his significant other of 4 years, Theresa Marie Davis; sisters: Theresa Rousis and Geneva Cowart; brothers: Danny Nelson and Frank Nelson; and two grandchildren. Leamon’s passing will also be felt by his Catahoula Leopard Dog, Nia. Cremation under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL
