Gordon L Loch

Gordon Lamar Loch of Floral City, FL passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on August 30, 2020 at the age of 85. Gordon was born in Pontiac, MI on June 10, 1935 to the late Lewis and Mildred (Clark) Loch. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. In 1966 he married his wife Shirley (McCarthy) with whom he shared 54 years of loving marriage. In his spare time Gordon enjoyed the great outdoors and liked hunting and fishing. He also liked woodworking, working in his yard and gardening. He was a fun loving man that never met a stranger. Gordon always had a smile on his face and could put a smile on others with his quick wit, jokes and happy personality,

In addition to his wife Shirley, those left to mourn Gordon’s passing include his 4 sons: Gary, Rob and his wife Holly, Jeff and his wife Gina and Alan. Gordon also leaves behind 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters in law Terry, Kim and husband Bob Gray; brother in law, Timothy and wife Cathy McCarthy.

Gordon will be laid to rest with full military honors at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
