Robert W. Drake, 70, of Tarpon Springs, FL passed away November 21, 2019 in Floral City, FL. Robert was born in Attleboro, MA on May 3, 1949 to the late James T. and Mary Evelyn (Binkie) Drake.
Robert was a painter, was involved in historical restoration projects in Boston, MA, and worked on Mease Manor Retirement Center in Dunedin, FL. Robert served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He arrived in this area in 1996, coming from Bellerica, MA. Robert loved his work, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very social person.
Robert is survived by his loving companion of 28 years, Cindy Freeman. Other survivors include his children, Robert W. Drake, Jr and his wife, Tracey of Floral City, Betsy Felt and her husband, Brad of Moyock, NC; brothers, James Drake of Largo, FL and Larry Drake of Attleboro, MA; and 4 grandchildren.
