Joseph Dionizio, Jr, 68, of Inverness, FL passed away July 13, 2019 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness after a short, but fierce battle with cancer. He was born in Providence, RI on November 22, 1950 to the late Joseph and Evangelina (Barraca) Dionizio. Joseph was a machinist by trade, and arrived in Florida in 2013, coming from Rhode Island. Joseph had a passion for riding his motorcycle, camping, and flea markets, but above all, he loved being outside having a good time. Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Dionizio III and his wife Tara from Cranston, RI, and his daughter, Joanna Leard and her husband Brian from Fairfield, Maine; 3 grandchildren; and his beloved partner, Lynn Babbitt of Inverness. Joseph’s urn will be laid to rest in Rhode Island at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
