Ray A. MacDonald

Ray A. MacDonald, age 97, of Lecanto, FL passed away at The Grove Health and Rehabilitation facility in Hernando on May 5, 2019. Ray was born on April 30, 1922 in Milford, NH to the late Ray and Edna (Burtt) MacDonald. A Veteran of World War II, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Force.

Ray was married to his wife Dorothy for 55 years until her passing in July of 2000. He made Citrus County, FL his home in 1989 after relocating from Nashua, NH and enjoyed boating, woodworking and carving in his spare time. Ray loved to travel and had been all over the world. He especially enjoyed his visits to Scotland, Australia, Spain and Brazil. He also loved spending time in the Caribbean.

Those left to mourn Ray’s passing include his daughters: Deborah Kibler and her husband Chuck of Madeira Beach, FL, Nancy Price and her husband Ed of Inverness, FL, Cynthia Toussaint and her husband Gary of Merrimack, NH; sister, Edna Patterson of Nashua, NH; grandchildren: Mark, Scott, Amy, Kyle, Kari; and great grandchildren: Andrew, Russell, Madelyn, Aarron, Brendan and Grace. Ray also leaves behind his very special companion, Christine Trow of Hollis, NH.

Cremation care provided by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
