Elaine Frye, age 89, formerly of Inverness, Florida passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 under the care of All Seasons Hospice at the Generations of Batesburg in Batesburg, SC.
Mrs. Frye was born in Steubenville, OH on January 18, 1930 to the late Clarence and Margaret (Beatty) Dible and moved to Florida in 1982 from Toronto, OH. She was employed by Titanium Medals Corporation and following retirement, she founded and operated Car-Laines Florist, both in Toronto, OH. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Inverness.
Left to mourn her passing is 1 son, Frederick L. Davis and wife, Judy of Gilbert, SC; her sister, Evelyn Mansfield; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey Swingle and Dean (Sara) Luce; 2 great grandchildren, Kayden Luce and Quinn Luce; loving nieces, Pam Hogg, Cindy Mansfield; her nephew, Ray Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Frye in 1995, her daughter, Lynn Swingle and grandson, Jonathan Davis in 2007.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Oak Ridge Cemetery of Inverness with Pastor Douglas Reed of the Central Christian Church of Ocala, FL officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Kainrad Educational Society, 110 Pleasure Island Road, Gilbert, SC 29054. Arrangements under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.
