Paul Matinzi

Paul Matinzi, 64 of Inverness, passed away at home on Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born in Plymouth, MA on February 15, 1955, to the late Alton Joseph and Bertha Mae (Hanelt) Matinzi and came to Citrus County 24 years ago from there. Paul was a contractor in the construction industry. He was a member of the Inverness Moose Lodge, he loved to golf and loved NASCAR racing. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 30 years, Cheryl; his sons: Kyle Matinzi of Seattle, WA, Kodi Matinzi of Tampa, FL, and Paul Matinzi, Jr. of Massachusetts; his brothers: Alton, David and Alan; his sisters: Susan and Carol; and his grandchildren: Trinity, Adelynn, Maylee Rae and Wynter Lynn. The family will celebrate Paul’s life with a private family memorial service. Cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
