Ronald G. Madsen

Ronald Gordon Madsen, 90, of Inverness, FL passed away February 2, 2019 under the care of New Horizons Assisted Living in Inverness. He was born in Valsetz, OR on November 14, 1928 to the late Antone and May (Isabelle) Madsen.

Ronald served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy, and worked for Ford Motor Corp as a automotive manager with 42 years of service. He arrived in this area in 1998, coming from Alabama, and was a member of the Crossgate Church of God in Inverness. Ronald was a talented musician, playing the piano, organ, and guitar, and was the church pianist. He also enjoyed participating in the church activities.

Ronald was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mark and Charles Madsen; brother Antone Madsen, and sister Betty Terrel. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 20 years, Betty F. Madsen. Other survivors include his children Ronald Madsen of Cropwell, AL, and Clifford Madsen and his wife Stephanie Beling of Denver, CO, Angela Madsen and her spouse Debbie of Long Beach, CA, and Julie Jarrel and her husband Scott of Franklin, OH; stepchildren William Lux and his wife Meg of Crystal River, FL, Jack Bowers and his wife Hillary of Naples, FL, Linda Crossley and her husband Scott of Beverly Hills, FL, and Peggy See and her husband Wayne of Point Pleasant, W.VA; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
