Bobby Farris Roberts, age 75, of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on January 18, 2019. Bobby was born to the late James Edward and Marzina Viase (Champion) Roberts in Altha, FL on September 13, 1943. He was married to Doris (Carver) for 18 ½ years and made Citrus County, FL his home in 2004 after relocating from Brandon, FL. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator by trade and enjoyed buying, selling and repairing boats and trailers. Bobby also enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
In addition to his loving wife Doris, those left to mourn Bobby’s passing include his daughter, Cheryl Yvonne Roberts; stepdaughters: Diane Robinson, Lilly Scott, Sandy Roeder (Tod); brother, Art Roberts (Shirley); sisters: Dorothy Boyt (Norman), Blondell Cooper, Darlene Taje; nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Cremation care under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
