Benjamin Arthur Howard, 69, of Inverness, FL passed away December 31, 2018 at his residence in Inverness. He was born in Danville, IL on November 8, 1949, and was a Union Carpenter in the construction industry. Benjamin arrived in this area in 2000, coming from Danville, and was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating in his pontoon boat, spending time with family and friends, and especially “Waltzing with Matilda.” Benjamin was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Howard, and brothers Jess Steven Howard and James Thomas Howard. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pauletta Howard. Other survivors include his children James Kevin Howard and his wife Teri of Bloomington, IL, Shawn C. Howard and his wife Michele of Inverness, Dennis A Howard and his wife Holly of Georgetown, IL, and Monica S. Howard of Westville, IL; his mother, Ruth Cora Campbell; brother Boon Campbell and his wife Tracy; sister Dawn Campbell; grandchildren Brice, Kolton, Marnie, Nicholas, Chelsea, and Dalton; and 4 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
