Marian Jessie Stuckey, age 104, of Floral City, passed away at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing in Inverness on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Marian was born on July 17, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late James Keating and Grace A. (Roeder) Acor. She was Presbyterian by faith and relocated to Citrus County in 1983 from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Marian loved to read and her favorite author was Danielle Steele.
Those left to mourn Marian’s passing are her son, Jack Davis and his fiancée Cathy Gail Norman of Leesburg, FL; 7 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davis; son, Thomas D. Davis; daughter, Carol Benjamin; brother, Leon Acor; sisters: Rose C. Zawrotny, Grayce Alexander; and great granddaughter Morgan Brown.
Friends are invited to join Marian’s family for a Gathering and Sharing of Remembrance on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home. Marian will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy are made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
