Martha Eloise Ramirez, 87, of Inverness, FL passed away November 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Tampa, FL on April 26, 1931 to the late Thomas E. and Martha Ethel (McCullough) Harper. She was raised both in Tampa at the home of her Grandmother and at her family home in Dunnellon, where she was a cheerleader and graduated from Dunnellon High School.
Martha was a retired assembly worker for Honeywell Corp and returned to this area in 2015, coming from Tampa. She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed fishing, reading, rock collecting and all animals. She will be remembered by her unfiltered wit, sparkling blue eyes and bright smile.
Martha is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Francisco Ramirez. Other survivors include her children Jeff Almand and his wife Ellie of Tampa, and Laura Gonzalez and her husband Glenn of Inverness; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Myers and her husband Jordan, Marissa Schleman, and Christina Schleman; and two great-grandchildren, Lillian and William Hefner.
Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
