Francis S. Guida, 75, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away October 16, 2018 at Avante’at Inverness. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 29, 1942; son of the late Leo and Lucille (Petrino) Guida and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.
Frank worked as a Quality Inspector at Allied Signal Aerospace, and was a member and passionate advocate for the U.A.W. Local 1010. He was Vice Chairman of the Beacon Falls Planning and Zoning Commission in the seventies.
He enjoyed spending time with his Aunt Claire and Uncle Steve in Beverly Hills, FL. Frank permanently moved to Florida from Hamden, CT in 2007. Catholic by faith, he loved listening to country music, spending time in Vermont, eating fine Italian food and watching movies.
Frank is survived by his children William Guida, and daughter-in-law Bridgette Guida of Stevensville, MD; Kerri Guida and her partner Donald Stowe of Shrewsbury, MA; and three grandchildren, Joe Guida, Sean Guida and Olivia Stowe. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
A private mass will be held for him at St. Theresa Church followed by A Celebration of Life Memorial Service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, CT on November 3rd. Cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
