June J Rossy

June Josephine Rossy, age 99, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away at her home on September 28, 2018. June was born on December 5, 1918 in Cleveland, OH to the late Albert and Jean (Thompson) Day. She was married to Edward Frank Rossy for 71 years until his passing on February 27, 2014. June was a Telephone Operator for Ohio Bell for a number of years and made Citrus County, FL her home in 1982 after relocating from Bedford, OH. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hernando, FL. June enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Rossy, 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her niece, April Snead of Broken Arrow, OK and her caregiver and friend Joy Campbell of Citrus Springs, FL. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
