Donna C Nelson

Donna C. Nelson, 80, of Inverness, FL passed away September 30, 2018 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL. She was born in Jamestown, NY on June 22, 1938 to the late Irvin R. and Mabel (Barger) Crossley. Donna was a Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones Investment Company, and arrived in this area in 1985, coming from Sugar Grove, PA. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness, was an avid traveler, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Neil R. Nelson in 2004, brother Irvin R. Crossley, Jr, and sister Sandra Young. She is survived by her children David N. Nelson and his wife Wendy of Bonnieville, KY, Judy L. Johnson and her husband Keith of Cape Coral, FL, Dawn E. Regan and her husband Tim of Inverness, and Michelle M. Goodman and her husband Eugene of Floral City, FL; sister Connie Anderson and her husband James of Beverly Hills, FL; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Donna will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Friday, October 5, at 11:30 A.M. The family will be receiving friends at the church at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Michael J.
