Lawrence Neale “Larry” Janosek, 76, of Lecanto, FL passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL after a lengthy battle of failing health. He was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles and Ruth (Hawkins) Janosek.
Larry was a Corporation Vice President for the manufacturing industry and arrived in this area in 2002, coming from Strongville, OH. He was a Methodist by faith, and loved the Ohio Buckeyes football team; having played with Woody Hayes for a time. Larry enjoyed golfing, relaxing on the beach, and watching his grandchildren participate in sports.
He was the beloved life partner of Judy Baker of Lecanto; loving father to Cheri Wohleber and her husband Tom of Ridgeville, OH, Larry Janosek, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Newport, NC, and David Janosek and his wife Carrie of Palm Harbor, FL; cherished grandfather to Taylor, Aiden, Ethan, Evan, Luke, Trevor, and Grace. Larry was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Gerald Janosek.
The family would like to extend their thankfulness for all the care provided to Larry by his doctors, nurses, CMH and all the health care providers. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
