Patricia A. (Fierst) Pomahac, of Inverness, FL died peacefully at her daughter’s home in Fort Myers, FL on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 surrounded by her family at the age of 83. She is the wife of Thomas J. Pomahac for 58 years; mother of Thomas (Carrie) Pomahac, Jr. and Geri (John) Cedarburg; grandmother of Heather (Ian) Stites, Jamie, Sarah, Joseph, Anna, Axel, Kenny and Matthew; great grandmother of Nora Ingram and Evie Lynn Stites; sister of Ted (Judy) Fierst. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chris (Dave) Buzenius and her brother, Dan (Linda) Fierst.

Pat was born in Chicago, IL to the late Frank and Ethel Mae (Stevens) Fierst on March 12, 1935. She and her husband Tom raised their family in Lombard, IL and retired to Inverness, FL in 1997. Pat was an artist in so many ways. She loved to paint, quilt, sew, and bake and had created many beautiful works of art. Pat square-danced for many years and loved the friends she made while doing something she loved. She was a Catholic by faith and a devoted member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church where she baked for church members and organizations whenever needed.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Scholastica Catholic Church with Father Jose Tejada, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Hope Hospice, Development Office, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
