Robert G. Di Ninno, age 71, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away at his home on June 24, 2018. Bob was born in Revere, MA to the late Nicholas and Grace (Faragi) Di Ninno on October 20, 1946.
He graduated from Saugus High School in 1964 and later attended Salem State College. Bob was formerly employed by Stop and Shop, Gallahues Super Markets, Damon Food and Federated Food Corporation. On October 6, 1973 he married Joan (Quinn) with whom he shared 45 years of loving marriage. Bob and Joan made Beverly Hills, FL their home 10 years ago after relocating from West Peabody, MA. He was an avid car buff and enjoyed both racing and collecting cars. Bob liked traveling and attending car shows all over the country, with his wife.
In addition to his loving wife Joan, Robert’s passing will be mourned by his sister, Carolyn Nuzzolo and her husband Fred of Wakefield, MA; nieces and nephews: Robert and Kathy Knox of Wakefield, MA, Tonya and James Ward of Harrison, ME; brother in law, Thomas Becker of Chelmsford, MA; and many grandnieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Knox and her husband Robert Knox of Saugus, MA and sister in law Sandra (Quinn) Becker.
Friends are invited to join Robert’s family in visitation on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Homes, 549 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus, MA 01906. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. from Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer Street, Saugus, MA 01906. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Robert’s memory to Nature Coast Emergency Medical Foundation, 3876 W Country Hill Dr, Lecanto, FL 34461 or Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S Airport Rd, Inverness, FL 34450. When making a donation, please be sure to indicate on your check that the funds given are in memory of Robert Di Ninno.
