Louis Di Giacinto, age 51, of Inverness, FL passed away June 23, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Louis was born on August 27, 1966 in Salem, N.J. to the late Peter and Mary Ann (Hiles) Di Giacinto.
On October 10, 2010 he married Lena (Harley) with whom he shared 7 loving years of marriage. A Catholic by faith, Louis made Citrus County his home in 2012 after relocating from Ft. Lauderdale and worked for Home Depot. In his spare time he enjoyed puzzles, making arts and crafts, painting and cooking.
In addition to his loving wife Lena, those left to mourn Louis’ passing are his stepson, Jonathan Salyers of Inverness, FL; brother in law, George Harley and his wife Shannon of Inverness, FL; nieces: Chanda Harley of Inverness, FL, Angelena Harley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Nancy Nawaz of Hialeah, FL; and his very special “adopted mom”, Nancy Perez-Carrillo of Hialeah, FL. In addition to his parent’s, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Di Giacinto.
A celebration of Louis’ life is scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, with Father Claudius Mganga of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM for visitation and fellowship with Louis’ family.
