Georga A Yetner

Georga Anne Yetner, 74, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away April 25, 2018, surrounded by her family, at her residence in Beverly Hills. She was born in Portland, ME on December 17, 1943 to the late George and Gertrude (Brown) Ganem.

Georga arrived in this area in 1999 coming from Warwick, RI. She was a Senior Secretary for the Utilities Division, Board of Commission of Citrus County. Georga was Episcopalian by faith, and a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church of Inverness, FL. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Warwick, RI chapter, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and especially loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dolphins.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Yetner in 2016, and a brother, David Ganem. Georga is survived by her children, Linda Peckham and her husband John of Stow, MA, Edward Maynard and his wife Karen of Warwick, RI, Catherine McCully and her husband Walter of Cortez, CO, step-son Michael Yetner and his wife Cynthia of North Providence, RI; brother George Ganem, Jr. of Sebring, FL; sisters Virginia Thomas of North Providence, RI and Shirley Chapdelaine of Johnston, RI; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service for Georga will be held on Thursday, May 3, 11:00 A.M. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness, with a reception at the church to follow. Friends are invited to meet the family at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Georga’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date.
