Donald F. Broeker, age 86, of Floral City, FL, passed away April 16, 2018, while under the care of Sturgell Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, FL. Donald was born on May 7, 1931, in Orlando, FL, to the late Irwin and Bernice V. (Sutton) Broeker.
He was married to Nancy (Giordano) for 30 years. Donald and Nancy made Citrus County their home 26 years ago after relocating from Largo, FL. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Bushnell, FL, enjoyed fishing and “puttering” around the house and garage. Donald was an English Major in college and an avid reader. He was a stickler for proper English and Grammar.
In addition to his wife Nancy, Donald is survived by his son, Robbie Broeker of Seminole, FL, and daughter, Gloria Broeker of New Hope, PA.
Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
