Marie V. Rome, 83, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away March 27, 2018 at her residence in Citrus Springs. She was born in Franklin, NJ on January 14, 1935 to the late Samuel and Mary (Kovach) Delmont.
Marie was a dedicated homemaker, and arrived in this area in 2004, coming from Sussex, NJ. She was a Presbyterian by faith, and enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Delmont. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald Rome. Other survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Rome of Citrus Springs, Robyn Sparta and her husband Brad, and Renee Westerkamp and her husband Gary, both of Sussex, NJ; brother Adrian Delmont and his wife Doris; sister-in-law Kathy Delmont; grandchildren Kelsey, Colin, Haley, and Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Marie will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
