David Michael Liik, age 58, of Floral City, FL, passed away at his residence on March 21, 2018. David was born on September 15, 1959 in Perth Amboy, N.J. to the late Aggie and Hildegard (Mederer) Liik.
He was employed as an Injection Molding Technician and made Citrus County his home in 1990 after relocating from Jackson, N.J. David was a Volunteer Fireman for Floral City, FL and enjoyed bowling, fishing and taking long walks. He was an animal lover and will be especially missed by his beloved Chihuahua, Maddie.
Those left to mourn David’s passing are his son, David Michael Liik of Bedminster, N.J.; brothers: William Liik of Inverness, FL, James Liik of Toms River, N.J., John Liik of Seawarer, N.J.; and sisters: Elvina Seaman and Sylvia South, both of Floral City, FL. In addition to his parent’s, David was preceded in death by his sister, Christina Nemsak.
Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
