Antonio Di Giacinto

Antonio “Tony” Di Giacinto, 64, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and Inverness, FL passed away February 26, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Castel Castagna, Italy, and was a General Contractor in the construction industry, as well as a hairdresser. Tony arrived in this area in 2013, coming from Thunder Bay, and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking and playing cards. Tony loved classic cars, watching old westerns on TV, and listening to old Italian music. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Carol Seaton. Other survivors include his children Liana Millar and her husband Jeremy of Pickle Lake, Ontario, Canada, and Lisa Di Giacinto of Vancouver, British Columbia; brother Donato Di Giacinto and wife, Nicole; sisters Antonietta Castellani and husband, Domenico and Rita Castellani and husband Costantino; and 2 grandchildren, Samantha and Nicolas and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the community of Inverness for being so kind and welcoming. They also wish to thank all of their friends and neighbors, especially Larry and his family. Tony and Carol’s “Florida Family”, as well as the staff of Citrus Memorial Hospital for their support and compassion. Tony will be laid to rest in Thunder Bay at a later date.
