Marilyn “Dixie” Spencer, age 72, of Inverness, passed away December 26, 2017 at New Horizon Assisted Living Facility, Inverness. Dixie was born on November 14, 1945 in Anderson County, TN to the late William and Reva (Whaley) McClain. She was a Registered Nurse throughout her professional career.
Dixie enjoyed browsing the internet, playing online games and going out to eat and visit with her friends.
Those left to mourn her passing are her son, Robert M. Kingsbury of Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandy and Shanteen; and several great grandchildren.
Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
