Genevieve P. Beachler, age 88, of Inverness, FL, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Genevieve was born on May 2, 1929 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Carl and Theodora (Reynolds) Pierce.
She was married to Donald Grey Beachler, Jr. until his passing on October 31, 1990. Genevieve was employed as a Radio Dispatcher for the Department of Public Works in Clearwater, FL.
She is survived by 3 sons: Kenneth F. Beachler of Inverness, FL, Michael M. Beachler of Tampa, FL, Douglas G. Beachler of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Betty Milton; and one grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted for Genevieve on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:30 AM from Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, and will be conducted by Reverend Robert Simmons, Sr. of the Mt. Zion A.M.E Church of Hernando.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
