Susan E. Jones, age 70, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Susan was born on February 6, 1947 in New Hampshire to the late Albert E. and Dorothy (Belisle) Duff. She was married to Arthur Jones for 50 years until his passing on February 2, 2017. She and Arthur came to Citrus County in 1981 from Ft. Bliss, Texas.
Susan was Episcopal by faith and a member of the computer club CRUG, the Beverly Hills Chapter. She also loved genealogy and researching her family’s history. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cathy Ney and her husband Francis of Lecanto, FL; brother, George Duff; sisters: Judy Gott and husband Glen and Charlotte Duff; grandson, Matthew Jones and great grandchildren: Lindsey Jones and Maddlynn Rose Jones.
A celebration of life memorial service for Susan will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Father Eugene Reuman of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church officiating. Friends are invited to join Susan’s family in visitation beginning at 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Her urn will be laid to rest alongside her husband Arthur at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
