Kenneth L Hornberger

Kenneth L. Hornberger, age 61, of Inverness, FL, passed away November 28, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. Kenneth was born in Ashland, PA on August 16, 1956 and was the son of Shirley (Hornberger) Losch. He made Citrus County Florida his home in 1994 after relocating from Pennsylvania. He worked as a chef in the restaurant industry throughout his working career and attended worship services at the Pleasant Grove Church of God, Inverness, FL. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and enjoyed doing yard work and woodworking. Kenneth also greatly enjoyed the many trips he made to Disney with his family over the years.

Those left to mourn Kenneth’s passing include his wife of 34 years, Nora (Blaylock) Hornsberger; mother, Shirley Losch of Ashland, PA; daughters: Angie Hornberger, Annie Hornberger and Misty Bohr, all of Pennsylvania; stepson, Dustin Johnson and his wife Rose of Titusville, FL; and stepdaughter, Tammy Sellars of Inverness, FL. Kenneth’s family plan to lay his urn to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Private cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
