Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On
Stanley J Williams MD

Stanley J Williams MD

Stanley J. Williams, M.D., born March 9, 1954, in Amla, Kerala, India, to John and Isabel Williams, departed our lives at his home in the early hours of May 11, 2015, with his wife and daughters clinging to him. He is a dedicated and caring board-certified cardiologist, whose loyal patients adore him. He lived a life of purpose, dignity, and service. His goodness was rivaled only by his integrity.

Stanley genuinely loved his work, and it showed through his thriving, self-made medical practice. He took pleasure in exercising, gardening, ballroom dancing, chatting with his St. John’s Medical College classmates, playing with Toto and Captain, attending mass, and relaxing at his beautiful home.

His greatest loves are his family, his beloved wife of thirty-one years, Beena M. Stanley, M.D., and their daughters, Tanya, an Inverness attorney, and Tiffany, a sophomore at the University of Florida. These three ladies are honored to call him theirs and to have stood by him in life, cared for him during his struggle, and to send him home again.

He is also survived by five caring sisters and a loving brother and their families in California and Arizona, as well as extended family, who are greatly saddened by the loss of their hero.

This great man left an indelible mark on the world. The loss is felt by many, as evidenced by the tremendous outpouring to his family. His quiet dignity allowed him to bare his cross with grace and comforted his devastated family. He is a gentle soul who has profound faith. May God welcome him in heaven, and may Stanley shine his grace upon his family so they may overcome their grief.
