Frances Mae Barfus, 85, Homosassa passed away at home on October 24, 2017 under the loving care of her family. Mrs. Barfus was born in Miami, FL on May 14, 1932 to the late Henry Edgar Burnett and Hattie Stirrup Burnett and came to this area in 1989 from there.
Left to cherish her memory are 6 children, William G Barfus, III and wife April, Ft Lauderdale, FL; Mike Barfus of South Miami; Norman Barfus, Homosassa, FL; Wayne Barfus and spouse Bob, Spring Hill, FL; Pamela Ellet, Ft Lauderdale, FL; Natasha Lopez, Homosassa, FL; 2 sisters, Margaret Levine, No. Miami; Rosalee Conger, Dunnellon, FL; She was preceded in death by her husband, William Barfus on July 5, 2017
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 12:00 noon from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Kell of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
