Kenneth J Cochrane

Kenneth J. Cochrane, Ph.D., 68, of Inverness, FL passed away September 27, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, FL. He was born in Yonkers, NY on October 28, 1948 to the late Kenneth Carson Cochran and Mary Maroney Cochran.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy RM2 veteran of the Vientam conflict. He was a Clinical Psychologist, Psychology Professor, and held membership in the MENSA Society. He arrived in this area in 2011, coming from New Jersey.

Kenneth was a guitarist and singer. He was an avid traveler, enjoyed fishing, golfing, antiquing, and loved going to musical concerts. He also enjoyed discovering new restaurants. Kenneth was the most loving and giving husband, father, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shawn of 15 months and was his partner in the love of live, spiritual travelers, with nowhere and everywhere to go. Other survivors include his daughters, Julie Cochrane of Lodi, NJ, Sarah Cochrane of Boston, MA and Jessica Cochrane of Boston, MA, who were all his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and his little pals, Shadow and Pepper.

A Celebration of Life and Remembrance will be held at Stumpknockers on the Square, Inverness on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
