Thomas A. Lupperger, age 83, of Inverness, FL, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Thomas was born on June 17, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Forsthoffer) Lupperger.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. After his military service, Thomas went on to work as a Mechanical Draftsman in the Engineering Industry. On April 26, 1958 he married Lois Bush, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Thomas and Lois made Citrus County Florida their home 20 years ago after relocating from Philadelphia, PA. He was a talented artist that enjoyed painting landscapes and scenery and a member of the Citrus Watercolor Society. Thomas also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
In addition to his loving wife Lois, those left to mourn Thomas’ passing include his daughters: Victoria Delucia and Lisa Ricchione (Robert), both of Bucks County, PA; grandchildren: Nicole, Samantha, Anthony, Alexandria and Nicholas; and great grandchildren: Angela, Lisa and Thomas. Private cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
