Nina J. Romano, 82, Hernando passed away Aug 26, 2017 at the Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast in Lecanto. Nina was born in Montgomery, AL on Oct 17, 1934 to the late Aubrey and Katherine (Chambers) Jones.
Nina came to Citrus County in 1994 from Hollywood, FL. She was employed as a Service Representative for the Bell Telephone System and was of the Catholic Faith. She attended Our Lady of Grace and Our Lady of Fatima when able. Nina enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, and playing cards.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Richard Romano of Hernando; her son, Salvatore R. Romano, Hernando, FL; her daughter, Lisa Marie Williams, Ft Lauderdale, FL; 1 grandson, Richard Anthony.
A Celebration of Life Service will be offered Friday, September 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Erwin Belgica, pastor of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church officiating. Her urn will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
