Roy A. Gennaro, 84, Floral City, FL passed away August 23, 2017 at the Ocala Regional Medical Center. Roy was born in Hammond, LA on April 6, 1933 to the late Joseph E. and Angie (Benton) Gennaro.
Roy came to Florida in 1985 from Rockford, IL. He was a retired welder and of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of Floral City Masonic Lodge, 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner, and The Order of Eastern Star.
Roy is survived by 2 sons, Gregory A. Gennaro of Aurora, CO; Joseph A. Gennaro of Chadwick, IL; his daughter, Deanne Groen, Chadwick, IL; Several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gennaro on May 24, 2010, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Masonic Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home. Memorial Masonic Lodge No. 119 will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
