Henry J. Glowacki, 87, of Inverness, FL passed away August 21, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. He was born in Erie, PA on August 30, 1929 to the late Anthony J. and Mary D. (Czulewicz) Glowacki.
Henry was a machinist for the American Meter Company for 42 years, and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He arrived in this area in 1992, coming from Erie, and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Other memberships include the VFW Post #4337 of Inverness, and the American Legion Post #155, Crystal River, FL. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, dancing and camping.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife Isabelle Glowacki in 2015. He is survived by his children Marianne Glowacki and her husband Wayne Luther of Inverness, and Matthew Glowacki and his wife, Caroline of Erie; 2 grandchildren Philip and Garrett Glowacki, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Henry is scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Graveside services with military honors will take place after the mass at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
